Have you ever wondered what the submerged part of a beaver lodge might look like? I had an idea but was amazed to see it for my own eyes earlier this year.
On my way to work I pass by a wet area that has a beaver lodge. With the dry spells we’ve been having, the water slowly dried up which exposed more and more of the lodge until the underwater entrance was fully visable (this was back in the late spring). I decided to stop my car and have a proper look (and take some photos). I hope the beavers were able to find a new home!
