Can you spot the bee? Look closely and you’ll even see the delicate veins on its wings! Bees are still busy pollinating our many flowers. In addition to our usual late summer stars – asters, goldenrods, perennial sunflowers and Rudbeckias – we still have a few other plants blooming, such as a surprise show from our spring-flowering wild geraniums. Have you found the bee yet? The sun shone through the petals of these sunflowers, revealing the silhouette of a busy bee, on the lower half of the larger sunflower.
