Take the Biodiversity+Me Quiz to see if you are more drawn to land, lake or sea.

Do you gravitate towards the smell of native prairie plants? Or do you feel drawn to the spray of the waves? Or perhaps you feel connected through the peace and tranquillity of a freshwater stream?

Now is the time to find out! The Canadian Wildlife Federation’s Biodiversity+Me Quiz will narrow down which ecosystem you are most drawn to and even suggest a symbolic species! Are you up for the journey?

But first, let’s find out how many ecosystems you could be placed within.

Terrestrial Ecosystem

As you may know, CWF does tremendous amounts of on-the-ground conservation for pollinators, ensuring they have healthy habitats. For example, restoring rights–of–way habitats for migrating Monarch Butterflies and helping out 42 other pollinator species! Species that call this ecosystem their home include bats, bees, butterflies, moths, and birds.

Marine Ecosystem

This ecosystem is teeming with life from algae and kale to the wildlife that roam the deep waters like whales, sea turtles, and stellar sea lions! A not very well known fact, is that polar bears are also classified as marine species.

Freshwater Ecosystem

With over two million lakes and rivers and 20 per cent of the world’s freshwater, Canada has an incredible abundance of aquatic natural resources. Within these waters, we have species like the Pacific Salmon, Snapping Turtle and the Canadian Beaver — to name a few.

Once you’ve played the Biodiversity + Me Quiz, you can explore the the conservation efforts the Canadian Wildlife Federation is doing to help these ecosystems.
