{"id":8362,"date":"2020-09-21T22:01:14","date_gmt":"2020-09-21T22:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/?p=8362"},"modified":"2020-09-22T18:29:06","modified_gmt":"2020-09-22T18:29:06","slug":"tips-for-entering-our-annual-photography-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/index.php\/en\/tips-for-entering-our-annual-photography-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Tips for Entering Our Annual Photography Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Our annual photo contest is open right now, which means if you\u2019ve taken a pretty great photo, you should enter it!<\/h2>\n<p>What constitutes a pretty great photo?<\/p>\n<p>Mostly, you need to ask yourself the following: does the photo share a clear message of the wildlife that inspires you? Yes? Then <a href=\"https:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/explore\/photo-club\/annual\/?src=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">send it<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>If you want to get specific, there are some categories you can find inspiration in and some basics you\u2019ll want to take into account. Photos can be submitted in these five \u201cthemes\u201d or categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Landscapes<\/li>\n<li>Animals\/Creatures<\/li>\n<li>Flowers\/Trees\/Leaves<\/li>\n<li>Animals in Cityscapes<\/li>\n<li>People in Nature<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>They have fancier titles \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/explore\/photo-club\/annual\/?src=blog#enter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">check them out here<\/a> \u2013 but for simplicity sake, that\u2019s the main idea. You\u2019ll want to make sure you stick to natural and Canadian content (i.e. no photos of animals in zoos or aquariums). So if you\u2019re on a walk this fall, stop and find something to snap a photo of and send it our way.
