They\u00a0are known to aggregate in two areas \u2013 the Grand Manan Basin, Bay of Fundy and\u00a0the Roseway Basin, Scotian Shelf. By <a href=\"http:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/news-features\/articles\/funding-stories\/saving-the-north-atlantic.html\">closing these fishing areas\u00a0in July and August<\/a>, we could reduce the risk of entanglement by 30 per cent! <strong>It&#8217;s the difference between extinction and survival for this species<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Now that we know where North Atlantic Right Whales face the\u00a0most at risk, our next step is to convince the\u00a0 government to block\u00a0fishing in these two areas over the summer.<\/p>\n<h3>Help spread the word about the risk to North Atlantic Right Whales by sharing this video.
