Talking Shorelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week we\u2019re near Westport, ON along with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watersheds.ca\/index.php?lang=en\">Centre for Sustainable Watersheds<\/a> training the technicians who will be out on some of Ontario\u2019s lakes this summer surveying shorelines as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/do-something\/challenges-projects\/love-your-lake\/\">Love Your Lake program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Lynn-training.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-361\" alt=\"Lynn training\" <a href=\"http:\/\/www.watersheds.ca\/index.php?lang=en\">Centre for Sustainable Watersheds<\/a>, begins the day with an overview of the <a href=\"http:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/do-something\/challenges-projects\/love-your-lake\/\">Love Your Lake program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/David-training.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-362\" alt=\"David training\" href=\"http:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/\">Canadian Wildlife Federation<\/a>, discusses the importance of healthy shorelines.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ofah.org\/conservation\/ISAP\">Aquatic Invasive Species Outreach Liaison with Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters<\/a>, present on some of the common invasive species found along Ontario&#8217;s shorelines and how to distinguish them from similar looking species. <!--[if gte mso 9]&gt;--><\/p>\n<p>Training continues over the next few days so that everyone is prepared to deliver <a href=\"http:\/\/cwf-fcf.org\/en\/do-something\/challenges-projects\/love-your-lake\/\">Love Your Lake<\/a> with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.watersheds.ca\/index.php?lang=en\">Centre for Sustainable Watersheds\/Eastern Ontario<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.physicalactivitynetwork.ca\/partner\/renfrew-county-stewardship-council\">Renfrew County Stewardship Council<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greatersudbury.ca\/\">The City of Greater Sudbury<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.muskokawatershed.org\/\">Muskoka Watershed Council<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lakelandalliance.net\/\">Lakeland
