Our interactions with the natural world can inspire and benefit\u00a0us if we are mindful of our actions and receptive to what we hear and see around us.<\/h2>\n<p>Summer is the time of year when\u00a0Canadians spend more times outdoors and especially\u00a0on our oceans. It is also the time of year when many\u00a0marine wildlife also return to our oceans; wildlife like\u00a0whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals, sea lions, sea turtles\u00a0and sharks. So it\u2019s no surprise that you may have\u00a0already heard of emergencies with marine animals\u00a0this year.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2556\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2556\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2556 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/seals.jpg\" alt=\"Photo: Nicole Ta\" width=\"400\" height=\"250\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2556\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Nicole Ta<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/marineanimalresponse.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canadian Marine Animal Response\u00a0Alliance <\/a>(CMARA) is tracking the efforts of the regional\u00a0networks that respond to these emergencies. If\u00a0you witness a distressed or dead marine animal this\u00a0summer, make sure to report it to your local regional\u00a0response network! Check out more CMARA\u00a0tips and contact information on our website at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/marineanimalresponse.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">MarineAnimalResponse.ca<\/a>. Well-documented\u00a0emergencies can help lead to better conservation\u00a0knowledge and actions!
