{"id":1660,"date":"2014-10-31T19:08:07","date_gmt":"2014-10-31T19:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/?p=1660"},"modified":"2016-10-14T14:53:43","modified_gmt":"2016-10-14T14:53:43","slug":"schooled-by-nature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/index.php\/en\/schooled-by-nature\/","title":{"rendered":"Schooled by Nature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt; text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While we don\u2019t know the official count yet on the number of sockeye salmon that returned to Adams River this year, the 2014 Salute to the Sockeye Festival was a great celebration of one of Canada\u2019s wildlife spectacles!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Between Sept. 15 and Oct. 26 there were 124,903 visitors in BC\u2019s Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park. This is one of the best places in the world to view millions of sockeye salmon return to the river they were born in to spawn. While the Adams River Salute to the Sockeye Festival has officially wrapped up, guests arriving over the next few weeks may still get a glimpse of these red and green salmon as the remaining sockeye make their way to the gravel beds.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Check out these amazing photos showing the beautiful sockeye salmon, even evidence of predators \u2013 bears! Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un des meilleurs endroits au monde pour voir des millions de saumons rouges retourner \u00e0 la rivi\u00e8re dans laquelle ils sont n\u00e9s pour frayer. Tandis que le festival Hommage aux saumons rouges de la rivi\u00e8re Adams est termin\u00e9, les personnes qui visitent le parc au cours des prochaines semaines peuvent toujours apercevoir ces saumons rouges et verts comme les derniers saumons se rendent aux lits de gravier.<\/p>\n<p>Regardez ces incroyables photos qui montrent les magnifiques saumons rouges. On peut m\u00eame y voir la preuve de la pr\u00e9sence de quelques pr\u00e9dateurs \u2013 des ours!
