Are you up for the journey?<\/p>\n<p>But first, let\u2019s find out how many ecosystems you could be placed within.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Terrestrial Ecosystem<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-standard wp-image-15558\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1-en-940x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"940\" height=\"640\" \/>As you may know, CWF does tremendous amounts of on-the-ground conservation for pollinators, ensuring they have healthy habitats. For example, restoring rights\u2013of\u2013way habitats for migrating Monarch Butterflies and helping out 42 other pollinator species! Species that call this ecosystem their home include bats, bees, butterflies, moths, and birds.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Marine Ecosystem<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-standard wp-image-15545\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/3-940x640.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"940\" height=\"640\" \/>This ecosystem is teeming with life from algae and kale to the wildlife that roam the deep waters like whales, sea turtles, and stellar sea lions! A not very well known fact, is that polar bears are also classified as marine species.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Freshwater Ecosystem<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-standard wp-image-15543\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.cwf-fcf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/2-940x640.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"940\" height=\"640\" \/>With over two million lakes and rivers and 20 per cent of the world\u2019s freshwater, Canada has an incredible abundance of aquatic natural resources.
