Walking by on the way to my car a couple of days ago around 3:00 p.m.,\u00a0I noticed some small and oh-so-beautiful bees visiting\u00a0our patch of bellwort. A closer look yielded what appeared to be even smaller bees buzzing around the flowers, as well. Yesterday my colleague Melissa and I went out at the same time of day to photograph them and found the smaller bees were back along with\u00a0a butterfly getting a good drink! It looks like a spring azure, but I&#8217;d have to check further to be sure. There was also a bumblebee visiting the different spring flowers.
